Where Will the Plot Lead?

As a true fan of the series I think that the series could go any direction at this point. I think the most plausible idea to get the whole thing rolling would be killing one of the main characters in the near future. Linderman may be the one to kick the can. One villain who I think is safe for now is Sylar, who seems to be a promising character for the future. As stated this is purely specualtion at this point.
